Lasonta Bynoe
I hail from the sunny, tropical island of Barbados known for its gorgeous beaches, flying fish, and calypso music. Barbados has birthed many greats like the confidence icon, singer, and mega business mogul Rihanna, and the famous Law of Attraction mystic Neville Goddard. Growing up in urban housing and schools in NYC was quite the transition for me, especially with seeing both of my parents struggle to make ends meet. Not having the basic essentials and support that every child needs has had an impact on my development well into adulthood, but that generational curse ends here.
My purpose is to bring awareness to system inequities, and to the Neurodivergent community that I am apart of. I want to advocate for the underdog who has been at a disadvantage.
I started my docuseries My Life Is a Movie to showcase how I navigated all of the hardships I’ve faced. With the belief in myself, miracles have happened. My Late Bloomer Diaries blog also features an exclusive storyboard of photography and creative writing about events that have transpired in my life as well. It is my hope that my story inspires those of you out there who feel alone and defeated in life. It is not only a healthy release for me but my gift to the world.
